Knowing Thy Impact

"KNOWING THY IMPACT!!"

Are we effectively linking evidence to practice?

Are we designing for improvement?

Improving School Diagram

Love this diagram.  Depicts a clarity of roles often not articulated well.  Could use with staff induction and with Team leaders when developing their Action Plans.  What's my job?  What's your job?

From NZC
28 May 2018
Reflection:
“The digital age we live in has made it so much easier to share with our colleagues as we enjoy the
same affordances our children experience - anywhere, anytime, any pace and with/from anyone...
and to share professionally in spaces...”

The Manaiakalani Programme uses Blogger for teachers to share professionally.

SPIRALS OF INQUIRY: Since any teaching strategy works differently in different contexts for different students, effective pedagogy requires that teachers inquire into the impact of their teaching on their students.

Just received some PLD  from Manaiakalani Facilitators around BLOGS.  Our pilot class students are using BLOGs to share their learning.  We had many questions around how "public" blog posts are and the safety issues that might exist.  I am going to check on how free we should allow students, or ourselves, be when making posts.
